About this Module
The module gives a context on what is and what is not about computational thinking. It explains the key concepts of Computational Thinking (Abstraction, Decomposition, Pattern Recognition, Algorithm Design), how it can be applied in different disciplines and help us in our thinking. Included in this e-Learning are interactive videos to help you understand the concepts better. You can also learn how computational thinking can be applied by going through the Magic Quiz and recap on the knowledge that you have learnt through the self-directed quiz. After completion of this e-Learning, you will learn on how to become a better problem solver using computational thinking.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the module, you will be able to:
- Differentiate between what computational thinking is and is not
- State the core concepts in computational thinking
- Recognise the usefulness of computational thinking in diverse disciplines
