Understanding Copyright for LearningEnrol

This module is intended for polytechnic students to equip them with basic copyright knowledge.

At the end of this module, the students should have achieved the following objectives.

• WHY should I care about copyright?
• WHEN will I infringe copyright?
• HOW can I avoid infringing copyright?

The following topics will be covered:

1. Introduction to copyright and its benefits; Aware of cases in Singapore; Understand what is public domain
2. Aware of scenarios that may lead to copyright infringement; Understanding Creative Commons
3. Understand various ways to avoid infringing copyright and relate with relevant examples
4. Identify additional information sources related to copyright
