- Select factors to consider when planning for active synchronous online learning
- Identify appropriate strategies to address common issues with synchronous learning
At the end of this module you can check your understanding, by trying out the Analyse Synchronous Session activities.
WHAT: Synchronous online learning occurs when learners “meet” all at the same time to learn using web-based technology. WHY: Synchronous online learning can reduce the feelings of lack of community and “distance” that students may experience in online courses.
